Less is often more – We suggest storing all the clutter somewhere it cannot be seen. You want the potential buyers to be engaged with the property’s features, not the magazines left on the coffee table! This does not mean leave your property bare, adding a few home touches can work a treat.

Light and airy – Before viewings we make sure that all the curtains are open to let as much sun light in as possible, making the house bright and an enjoyable experience. One bit of advice would be to make sure all your bulbs are working and if not replace them. It’s cheap and can really make the difference.

Spring Clean – Make sure all the dishes have been washed and the sides have been wiped down. You want to present your house as a clean, wonderful place to live. Not a dark, dirty and disastrous place to live.

Tidy Up – Not only the inside but the outside. If the grass needs cutting or the hedge needs trimming, go out and do it. If someone drives past and sees an RM English for sale board, you don’t want to scare them away before they’ve even had chance to see the property.
