Step 1 — Viewing and applying
Viewings are accompanied by our lettings team, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and understand more about the property. Please bring photographic identification, such as a passport or driving licence, as we are required to complete Right to Rent checks for all adult applicants before a tenancy can be granted. If you are applying as a household, every adult who will be living at the property will need to complete the relevant checks.
Step 2 — Referencing
Once you have decided to apply for a property, we will guide you through the referencing process. Referencing helps confirm your suitability as a tenant and will usually involve checks on your identity, income, affordability and previous rental history where applicable. We work with professional referencing providers and aim to make the process as straightforward as possible, keeping you informed throughout and helping resolve any queries quickly so your tenancy can progress smoothly.
Step 3 — Move in
Once your application has been approved and all checks have been completed, we will agree a suitable move-in date with you and the landlord. Before you collect the keys, we will ensure the tenancy agreement has been signed, any required payments have been made and all necessary paperwork is in place. On moving day, we will provide you with the information you need for your new home, including key details about the property, utilities and your responsibilities as a tenant, helping you settle in smoothly from the very beginning.
